Sultan Worldwide Box Office Collections

Sultan has set opening day records in Gulf and Pakistan, as people celebrated Eid by watching Salman Khan’s film in theatre. In Pakistan, the response was terrific, as the film managed to surpass the collections of previous highest grossers like Dilwale and FAN – by a margin of more than 50%. 
Sultan has become the first film to cross the 3 crore PKR on a single day, which has previously not been achieved by any film in the country. The first day collections of Sultan in Pakistan is 3.45 crore PKR (Rs 2.2 crore).
The Salman Khan starrer has also become the first film to collect more than $1 million on its opening day in Gulf. The film has collected $1.4 million.
The overseas total for the film is approximately Rs 20.5 crore (all centres not reported).
Sultan Worldwide Box Office Collections:
  • India Collections (Net) – Rs 36.54 crore
  • India Collections (Gross) – Rs 50.16 crore
  • Overseas Collections – Rs 20.5 crore
  • Sultan Worldwide Collections – 70.66 crore
As we write this (Thursday night), the worldwide gross of Sultan has crossed the 100 crore mark.
The Eid festivities will continue in India for the entire weekend. In Gulf, it’s a holiday till Saturday, while Sultan will get holiday advantage in Pakistani till Sunday
